Apparel Applications

Screen Printing

Traditional and versatile, the screen printing process produces beautiful designs that pop off the garment and have a low profile and great feel to the wearer. The design color sweet spot is a 1-3 color image, but this method can be used for designs with over 5 colors. Standard minimums are a quantity of 12, for a one color/one location design, or a quantity of 24, for multiple colors and/or multiple locations. Screen printing is ideal for larger jobs as it is more economical for the client.

Embroidery

A classic and professional look, embroidery brings your design and logo to life with style and sophistication. We use state of the art embroidery machines with expert in-house graphic design and digitization, coupled with proprietary finishing techniques to provide our clients with the best in class embroidery. This application has no minimums and is still one of the best overall values for our clients.

Direct to Garmet (DTG)

Ideal for multi-colored designs over 5-10 colors and with quantities under the standard minimums for other applications, DTG offers our clients an option to stay within their budgets without getting outside of their quantity restrictions. DTG works the best on cotton garments but can be calibrated for other materials and blends. The process is time consuming but yields a beautiful print with almost no profile and a great touch and feel. DTG is 30%-40% more expensive than traditional applications but perfect for short runs and special occasions. Look for DTG to be replaced with our new DTF printer which is more versatile, efficient and more cost effective than DTG.

Heat Press and In-house Vinyl

Heat press is a process that combines heat and pressure to apply your custom design to just about any garment or textile item. Ideal for multi-colored graphics, unusual design placements or orders with lower quantities, this application creates just about any touch and feel, while resulting in brilliant design clarity. The technology advances in new materials, 3D images and adhesives have increased this application’s popularity for clients. Heat press has been used for all kinds of clothing, hats, visors, headbands, bags and just about anything we can apply heat and pressure to. Minimums are flexible and dependent on the item and the transfer being used. Talk with your sales representative who will guide you through this decision.
